So the World Cup Is Coming To An End...

As they say, all good things must come to an end. In this particular case it has to be the World Cup. Although the HMS President can hardly say that we have witnessed the results we have wanted with England making a shockingly early exit, but who can deny an afternoon of football and beer? At we certainly can't, and neither can our guests. Our London Party Venue has been full of football hopefuls enjoying the game beside the Thames, and on Sunday we will watch out the final game in style!

HMS President - In the Midst of World Cup Fever!
On Saturday we are highly excited to watch the start of England's World Cup campaign. With the tables, chairs and BBQ's already in place, the HMS President can't wait for what promises to be an exciting night of Football in our unique London venue! Kick-off starts at 7.30, but to get the best seats in the house and avoid disappointment be certain to arrive early! To ensure that you get to see every exciting minute, we have included beer towers for your convenience making sure that you won't ever have to leave your seat!
And if that's not enough, we have free BBQ Sunday. So come along, celebrate England's success and enjoy London by the river with a hot-dog and a beer. The weather report is looking good, so you have every reason to join in!

HMS President gearing up for the World Cup!
The HMS President is proud to announce that they will be taking reserve bookings to be the perfect 2010 World Cup Venue. With the capacity to hold upto 180 hospitality guests, you and your clients can watch the World Cup in style.
In addition to our full hospitality packages, we will also be offering a special summer World Cup corporate BBQ package, ensuring that you make the most of our unique London venue. This will prove perfect for all of those looking to make an impression, as the HMS President offers the ideal opportunity to experience an awesome balance of great football and fantastic weather. Currently spring is proving hot enough, so we can only imagine what good weather the summer holds.
In other news, Easter has proven to be an exciting time for the HMS President crew. Not only have they played their part in a series of Easter and birthday celeberations, but they have also been able to wear shorts for the first time this year!
It truly looks like we might be in for the summer that we have all been hoping for!

HMS President Boat Hire Blog – March's First Update. 03/03/10
February was a fantastic month for HMS President. One of the big highlights was over Valentines weekend. A sumptuous wedding breakfast was provided for 90 guests. What followed went on into the very early hours, with over 300 guests revelling to some fantastic live music.
A regular frequenter of HMS President, who specialises in the interesting and often challenging field of ship security and anti-piracy, hired out our executive board room for a complete weeks worth of in-depth meetings and discussions. On Friday they had a chance to relax amidst one of our superb executive dinners.
Numerous lively birthdays were hosted at HMS President and our monthly Ceroc dancing event taking place. Dancers took advantage of small snippets of sunshine, whirling round the decking between our guests, all with to the great mix of jive and salsa.
We are now getting ready for a busy March with many conferences and hoping to dust off the BBQ in hope of a bit more sunshine!
March looks like its hotting up to be just as great as February. Conference bookings have come flooding in, and we’re hoping the weather warms up, sunshine breaking through all those clouds.

Well, it certainly has been a very exciting few weeks with a variety of different people hiring the boat through the Christmas and New Year period. We have seen everyone from Insurance companies to celebs enjoying this festive time of year on the HMS President, and not to forget the New Years party that we help here - the fireworks were stunning!
The diary through January is busy with a number of birthdays and events begin held on board. As always January is full of cold weather so wrap up warm as the Thames is no exception. Fortunately we do keep the boat very warm to cater for bookings, especially the conferences!
If you run a business and need some office space in a luxurious area we suggest that you get in touch as some has just become available for hire on board the Boat in central London. The offices we have come with the fantastic characteristics and history that the boat has had since it was first made in 1918.
